Independence Day Printables |
I have lots of Independence Day printables available for free or just a few dollars at several FreePrintable.net websites. The newest are the July 4 writing prompts at FreeWritingPrompts.net, with sample holiday-themed writing prompts for elementary school, middle school, high school, and college level. They're great for teachers, homeschooling parents, and anyone who wants ideas for essay writing, narratives, and other writing exercises. All of the writing prompts are free to view, download, and print.
For kids, I have Independence Day coloring pages to choose from at FreePrintableColoringPages.net. The illustrations include patriotic kids, fireworks, and flags. There's also a large selection of U.S. History coloring pages and all 50 state flags.
For patriotic letterhead
that can also be used for flyers, visit FreePrintableStationery.net. There's a free waving flag design with lined and unlined variations. Also, FreePrintableBusinessCards.net offers a business card to match the stationery. It's free for a version that includes the site URL, or $3 if you'd like to delete the URL.
There are also patriotic certificates at FreePrintableCertificates.net that are ideal for recognizing a community leader, volunteer, someone in the military, or anyone devoted the United States of America.

New Printable Bookmarks
|
If you have lots of summer reading planned, you'll definitely want to stock up on bookmarks. I usually have a couple of books going at once. It's free to print bookmarks at FreePrintableBookmarks.net, and there are now 210 to choose from since I recently added another 30 designs. Plus, there are 65 bookplates to adhere or place inside your books to make sure borrowers return them.
The
new bookmarks include: geometric shapes, food (great for recipe books), drinks, cute birds and trees, and more.
Just choose a bookmark, download it, (free!,) print, and follow the guidelines provided to cut, fold, and tape the two-sized design together. For an even sturdier bookmark, print on cardstock.

Printable Recipe Cards
|
I've gotten lots of requests for new additions to FreePrintableRecipeCards.net, so there are now 30 fun, new designs up at the site. They include, by popular demand, a new 8x10 size option. The 8X10 version is great for sharing with friends, or if you like assembling recipes in a traditional binder, photo-style album, or scrapbook.
The colorful new recipe cards
include: abstract shapes, country flags (Germany, Italy, and Mexico,) polka dots, cupcakes, cheesecake, and fruits. There are now more than 150 cards at the site. For Fourth of July picnics, potlucks, and so on, there's a firecracker design recipe card at FreePrintableRecipeCards.net.
All of the recipe cards are free as PDFs, or $7 per design for a DOC version you can type directly onto in Microsoft Word. The recipe cards on the site are available either lined or unlined, in 3-by-5 or 4-by-6 dimensions. Thanks so much for all your ideas for new printables. As you can see, your emails are a major source of inspiration for me. I have more sites on the way, so keep reading, and happy printing!
