Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

Valentine's Day is the perfect holiday for putting your artistic skills to use, and I want to reward you for your effort and creativity! Pick any of the free, cute or romantic printables from our site at www.FreeprintableColoringPages.net. Then color it in and show me what you can do! (Or, have a kid do it for you.) Take a picture of your art work (cell phone is fine) or scan it in and upload it onto our Facebook page at https://www.Facebook.com/FreePrintable. All participants will get a new, free printable just for Valentine's Day, and two lucky winners will receive a $50 gift card to Amazon.com. Winners will be announced on Feb. 14. So grab a marker, colored pencil, paintbrush, or crayon and get the creative juices flowing!

» New Printable Valentines
You'll love this: I've just added 25 new cards to www.FreePrintableValentines.net. There are now nearly 150 to choose from, so you're sure to find one for that special friend or sweetheart (or friend you aspire to convert to sweetheart).

The new Valentine's Day cards include lots of pretty pink and purple designs such as hearts, balloons, loveable monsters, and even a hippo with a heart on his ample belly. There are cards with roses, a shopping bag (perfect for a gift card), music, gold, cupid, and more. Just choose a design, download, print, fold, and send.

You can download any Valentine you like for free in PDF form. Or, if you'd like the option to type in a message or name before printing, go for the editable DOC version for just $4 per design - they can be opened in Microsoft Word. The entire collection of nearly 150 Valentines can be purchased in one convenient download for just $19.

» Printable Page Borders

Looking for a pretty, cute, or classic page border to use for flyers, stationery, and so on? I've just added 20 new designs to www.PageBorders.net, a site I launched almost exactly a year ago. Now there are 120 borders to choose from.

There are two new Valentine's borders that are perfect for party flyers, letters, and other uses. I've also added some historic classic borders, beautiful Victorian frames, a braided border, and an intriguing cat-and-skull border. New nature-themed designs include an oak leaves border.

You can download any border (or more than one - there's no limit) free as a PDF or DOC (Microsoft Word) file or a PNG or JPG image file. Just open in the appropriate folder and print. Some borders also have the option of an Adobe Illustrator (.AI) version, which costs $7 and is ideal for graphic designers or anyone who wants to further customize a border.

Thanks again for all the great ideas you've been sending me. I want to hear more about new printables you'd like to see. I have brand-new sites on the way, too. Happy printing!

Here's a nice note I got from Bob J., who uses printables at his church: "Just a quick thank you from me (a Sunday School teacher). I use your dot to dot pictures after our Sunday lessons ... When we go into the main church, it keeps the children quiet and busy during the rest of the service, and they really love them (4- to 8-year-olds) and always ask me what new ones I have brought. Thanks and keep up the good work." Thanks, Bob! I also have lots of coloring pages and a site especially for Bible coloring pages.
