FreePrintable.net news

Jan. 10, 2012
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

This week, I took CQ, my 4-year old, ice skating. It seemed like a good winter activity. OK, so the ice rink is in a nice, warm shopping mall, but it still counts as a fun winter family activity, right? It was only her second time on the ice but by the end she had stepped away from hanging on the wall, stopped holding my hand, and was actually skating. She fell down a lot, but she didn't want to stop. After 15 million laps around the ice rink, my calves felt like they were on fire, but she wanted more. My wife was just a tiny bit nervous because a few years ago, while on a Girl Scout trip, our older daughter fell on an ice rink and they had to chill for hours in a hospital ER waiting for stitches. Our more-recent ice venture was much more successful. You can see CQ in action on the FreePrintable.net blog.

Yep, I have new printables! This week, I've added 25 new business forms to www.BusinessFormTemplate.com as well as launched a fun, new site: www.PrintableMasks.net.

» New Business Forms
There's a new batch of business forms (more than two dozen in all) at www.BusinessFormTemplate.com. The site now has 432 letters for business owners as well as consumers, homeowners, salespeople, and more. I've added to categories such as: Employment, Logs and Inventory, Money, Real Estate and Rental, and Sales.

The new additions include a request for a credit report, a warranty claim on a product, and a letter to a landlord detailing repairs needed. There are also letters and forms for specific situations such as a disputed invoice, a late payment reminder, and a request for shipping information. There's even a form granting permission to be given a polygraph test (I wouldn't lie to you.)

Everything on the site is available for free in either PDF or DOC (Microsoft Word) format - or both. The PDFs can be printed from any computer, and the DOC files can be opened in Word or another DOC-compatible program. If you'd like all of the files in one convenient download, you can access the business forms collection instantly for $20. It's a great option for business owners and others who would like to have all 432 forms on hand on their computer.

» Printable Masks

This week I'm "unmasking" a new site: PrintableMasks.net. Fans of FreePrintable.net have been asking for a masks site for quite some time, and I'm happy to oblige, with nearly 50 masks of people, animals, and fantasy creatures.

Several of the masks are of people displaying specific personality types - from "nerd" to "emo." There's a gamer guy, a chef, a princess, and many more. As for animal masks, we've got 16 full-color designs, including: an elephant, a giraffe, a monkey, a tiger, and a shark (no tiger shark, though). Plus, we've got fantasy creature masks in the form of unicorns with all sorts of moods and traits.

The site includes step-by-step instructions on how to make two styles of mask: tied around the face, and taped to a craft stick like a puppet. Just print on cardstock, cut out the mask and its eyes, assemble, and start playing!

All of the masks are free and download instantly in PDF format.

I appreciate your ideas for new printables. They often end in new printables, and, in the case of PrintableMasks.net, entire new sites. Please keep the emails coming, and happy printing!

  » Kudos

One of the best things about the FreePrintable.net sites is that the free options are a big help to nonprofits and anyone on a tight budget. Patricia wrote to me about FreePrintableCertificates.net: "Your site was easy to use and I had an event that I needed to print some awards for a nonprofit. I am unemployed so I cannot afford to pay. So, thank you."
