FreePrintable.net news

October 18, 2011
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

I've got theater on the brain this week. The family and I hopped in the car and drove three hours north to Seattle to see a new musical called Saving Aimee. It was just a quick overnight trip, but it was a beautiful drive, and a good play. I can't resist a musical. And last week, we saw another musical here in Portland: Oklahoma, which is a true classic. Meanwhile my older daughter is spending her free time in rehearsals -- her school will be performing A Christmas Carol. She's thrilled to be in her first high school production. As for printables, this week I have new business forms and letters at www.BusinessFormTemplate.com as well as new Islamic and lunar calendars at www.RocketCalendar.com.

» Business Forms & Letters
In between enjoying great musical theater, I switched over to my "right brain" and added 20 new business forms and letters to www.BusinessFormTemplate.com

There are letter samples for all kinds of situations, including letters to legislators (for when you want to show concern or give support). Other letter topics include: new employee introduction, new product announcement, price increase notice, shipment cancellation letter, and sales and special offers. There are even letters for unfortunate situations, including firing an employee or refusing delivery.

Most of the new forms this time around are in letter format, but some include lines to check off or indicate details, such as a payment inquiry form with spaces on which to indicate amount paid, if any.

There are now 407 forms and letters at the site, and they're all free to download and print! Most of the forms are in DOC (Microsoft Word) format you can type directly into, while some are available in PDF as well. (Another option for many of the letters is to simply cut and paste the text from the site.) Again, all versions are free. There is the option of a convenient all-in-one download, which will give you all the forms on the site for just $20. Then you'll have them all on-hand without needing to download individually.

» Islamic & Lunar Calendars

My site, www.RocketCalendar.com, is ready for 2012 with even more new printable calendars in PDF form. I've just added Islamic calendars and lunar calendars.

Like the 2011 Lunar calendars, the printable calendar for each month of Lunar year 2012 shows the moon as it progresses through its phases. The dates of each new moon and full moon are also noted on the calendar.

The Islamic calendars have been created for 2012 as well as for 1433, which is the Hijri year as observed by Muslims and others who follow such a calendar. (It's also handy for people who do business with those who observe the Hijri calendar). The 1433 calendar lists Hijri dates and holidays and displays the months Muharram, Safar and so on, while the 2012 Islamic calendar has Gregorian dates with the Hijri equivalents noted in blue at the bottom of each date square.

To download any calendar (RocketCalendar.com also has traditional monthly calendars for each year from 1900 to 2099), simply select the month you need and click to download. They're all free, and can be printed instantly.

Thanks again for all your feedback and suggestions. Please write anytime and let me know what's on your mind (especially what printables you'd like me to add). I have lots of holiday stuff in the works, so sit tight and happy printing!

I was so pleased that Ela N. took the time to send me this nice email: "I want to thank you for all that you do! I am the leader of a Cub Scout Pack as well as a leader of a Girl Scout Troop. We have used your free printable calendars on a monthly basis and really love many of the special holiday things you offer. Being a small town, low-budget troop and pack, we appreciate all the freebies we can get! Keep up the good work." Thanks, Ela! My older daughter was big into Girl Scouts for many years, so I know how much fun (and work) it can be. Have you seen our scouting certificates, too?
