Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

For Halloween, I was a butterfly (again). I didn't have time to get a new costume together so I recycled last year's. Our older daughter was a devil (that wasn't much of a stretch, ha ha) and the little one was a princess/fairy/kitty.

I took the little one to the fall fair at her school, and she decided not to wear her costume at the last minute ... so I was wearing a costume but she was not, which was ... a little awkward. But we had fun.

Now that Halloween is done and my kids are coming down off their sugar rush, we're headed straight for my favorite holiday: Thanksgiving. I've dedicated an entire new website to Thanksgiving-themed printables. ThanksgivingPrintables.net has more than 60 greeting cards, puzzles, coloring pages, and other fun, FREE stuff to help celebrate the holiday, at home, school, or the office.

» Thanksgiving Printables
With dozens of coloring pages, cards, and more to instantly download and print for free, www.ThanksgivingPrintables.net is sure to give your printer a holiday workout.

There are pumpkins, turkeys, falling leaves, pilgrims, cornucopias, acorns, and more. Many of the coloring pages and other printables can be used for the entire fall season, or even year-round.

For holiday parties and well wishes, there are both invitations and greeting cards. They are all full-color, with messages such as "Let's Talk Turkey," and "Please Join Us for Dinner." The cards and invitations come in both small (quarter-fold) and large (half-fold) sizes and you can choose from PDF or editable DOC files - both free. The DOC versions are handy if you'd like to type your party info in using Microsoft Word before printing.

There are seven mazes to choose from, with holiday themes such as "Help the kids get to the football game" and "Help the pilgrim catch his hat." They're perfect for entertaining kids while Thanksgiving dinner is cooking. The full-color word search puzzles should also be a hit.

These Thanksgiving coloring pages (25 of them in all) are great for home or school, but I also picture them being used by businesses (such as restaurants) to entertain young guests as well as at church and community holiday and harvest events.

A list of "fun facts" about the holiday rounds out the selection.

If you'd like, you could choose to save time and download the entire Thanksgiving printables collection for $19. This is a convenient option for businesses, schools, and others who want to have all 60-plus printables on hand and saved to their computer without the need to download them individually.

» Fall Printables

This is my family's second autumn in Portland, Oregon. The leaves are turning colors and it's just gorgeous. Although I love it, I'm still not used to having an actual fall. Where we used to live, on the Northern California coast, most of the trees are evergreen.

Besides printables for Thanksgiving and all through the year, several of my other sites have fall printables ranging from stationery/letterhead to place cards to coloring pages.

If it's stationery you're looking for (whether for letter-writing or making flyers), visit www. FreePrintableStationery.net and www.FreeLetterheadTemplates.net. There are falling leaves and other fun, full-color designs - all free. For a printable autumn page border in various file formats, head to www.PageBorders.net.

There are lots of free autumn-themed coloring pages to choose from at www.FreePrintableColoringPages.net. And you can always create your own word search (or use one someone else has made) for free at www.FreeWordSearch.net.

If you're doing any canning or giving "gifts in a jar" type food presents, you'll want to check out the great printable canning labels at www.PrintableLabels.net. The site also has a selection of address and mailing labels with pumpkins, leaves, and other seasonal designs. Everything at the site is free.

If you're planning a fall party, don't miss www.PrintablePlaceCards.net, which has falling leaves designs as well as other cards you can print and fold - free as PDFs you can write on or $5 per design for a DOC file you can type into using Microsoft Word.

I'm announcing yet another new site next week! I appreciate all your ideas and suggestions, so please drop me an email when you get a chance. Happy printing!

  » Kudos

I really enjoyed this email from Brunilda, who is using free printables to make herself look good at work. Excellent, Brunilda!: "Thanks soooooo much for all your work and FreePrintables templates. I have become a master at my job in making cards, posters, writing letters, and so on. They really think I am a genius. Thanks to you. Oh, by the way, I have them all going crazy with the word search. They really think I take all that time to put the puzzle together.  They have tried to challenge me by giving long and complicated words. And guess what? Done in a second. Thanks, Kevin."
