September 13, 2011
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

My knees hurt.

Stick with me, I'll explain.

I'm a believer in trying new things. Life is an adventure, and I feel that you just have to get out there and see what opportunities and challenges are available to you. Being in a comfortable rut can be nice, but I like to try new things. I was reminded of this a few weeks ago when I watched a video called Try Something New For 30 Days. (You can watch it here -- it's only about three minutes.)

Inspired by that, I decided to try running. Now, I am not a runner, I'm not an athlete in any way at all. But what the heck, running for a few weeks might be interesting. So I'm doing a program called Couch to 5K, which teaches people to go from no exercise -- that would be the "couch" part, which I've mastered -- to running 5K (that's about 3 miles) in two months. Today I started week 4, and ran for a total of 16 minutes. I'm kind of thrilled. Now, I don't think I'm going to "be a runner." I haven't committed to a lifetime of running, just two months (and I'm halfway through already) to try something new for a while.

I'm having fun with this experiment, but my knees don't like the running so much.

Enjoy this week's new printables... and try something new.

» New Business Forms
I've just added 20 new business forms at www.BusinessFormTemplate.com, from employment forms to professional letters. There are forms for an exit interview, a grievance report, a request for transfer, a sexual harassment complaint, and many more. Also, there are letters offering congratulations, confirming an interview, granting a request, rejecting a job, and others.

Everything at BusinessFormTemplate.com is ready to instantly download and print. All of the letters and forms are free to print as PDFs or editable DOC files that are compatible with Microsoft Word and similar programs.

In keeping with the trying-something-new theme, I've removed the ads from BusinessFormTemplate.com. Instead, I'm just telling people they can buy my entire Printable Business Form Templates collection on CD-ROM from Amazon for $24.99, or download them for $20. If you find these forms helpful, please show your support by getting one of the paid options.

» New Page Borders

I just added 20 new borders at PageBorders.net, including a spooky Halloween border perfect for letters and flyers. It reads "Happy Halloween" and includes images of jack-o-lanterns, skulls, Frankenstein's monster, and vampires.

I've also added a new Victorian border, wedding borders, a wide selection of antique-look borders, borders inspired by nature (such as roses and leaves) and even a lobster border. There are woven borders in several colors, as well as borders that look like lace.

I'm trying something new again: many of the new borders at PageBorders.net are beautiful, traditional borders from old books, such as celtic knotwork, leaves, rustic looks, and others. I really think you'll like them. But as a result, there is no AI (Adobe Illustrator) version upgrade option for those -- these classic borders are all entirely free in your choice of DOC, PDF, and JPG formats.

Now that I'm running, it feels like I've found some extra energy - energy that I'll put to use bringing you more printables! Please let me know what you'd like to see next. I want to add a lot in the coming months, including holiday printables. Happy printing!

New FreePrintable.net user Amy P. sent me a short-but-sweet email: "Thank you for the printable certificates and more. I have used your free items at least five or six times now, and they are cool. Please keep up the good work." Excellent, Amy! Please keep checking the FreePrintable.net sites, as there is much more to come.
