FreePrintable.net news

July 26, 2011
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

I just flew back from Spain. (Boy are my arms tired!) My family and I spent two weeks in beautiful Spain - I spent one week
volunteering, teaching English to native Spanish speakers, and the rest of the time visiting Madrid and the picturesque Spanish countryside. We had a great time, but I'm happy to be home, and back in the office thinking about printables. This week I want to tell you about a new way to get printables on CD-ROM, and I'm also excited to introduce an all-new site, FreeWordSearch.net.

» CDs on Amazon.com
As you know, most of the more than 20,000 printables on the FreePrintable.net sites have a free version, with a premium DOC or XLS upgrade available for a few dollars. But many of you enjoy the convenience and value of the all-in-one-downloads and CD-ROMs that I offer for some of the sites' printables.

Now, for the first time, many of these Collections are available on CD-ROM via Amazon.com. I'm sure you know Amazon: the online book (and everything else) seller with cheap or free shipping and fast service. I'm excited to be partnering with Amazon to offer 14 themed printables collections on CD-ROM.

The extremely popular Templates for Teachers, from TeachersPrintables.net are there, with more than 280 classroom printables in DOC and PDF formats. There are also: resume and CV templates, family trees, storyboard templates, cute animal SVG files for crafting, graph paper, certificate borders, signs, invoice and receipt templates, paper, legal pleading templates and business and medical forms. Prices start at just $14.99.

Some of these collection configurations are unique to Amazon. Please take a look and see which printables you'd like to have on hand for easy printing at the home or office.

» Free Word Search

I am so excited about this new site that I just had to "pre-announce" it to newsletter subscribers. It's FreeWordSearch.net. I've never done this before, but I'm 95 percent done with the site and I need your help to finish it.

FreeWordSearch.net is something I've wanted to do for years. It offers free word searches to print as well as a free word search generator - enter your
own words and it creates a puzzle with your choice of difficulty and puzzle size.

The site is finally done, and I've created about a dozen puzzles, but I don't want to officially launch the site with just a few puzzles. That's where you come in - I'd like you to check out the site, look around the puzzles that are there so far (feel free to print and do them) ... then - this is the important part -
create a puzzle or two on your choice of topics. I'll pick some of the best to be on the site when it officially goes live. Thanks and enjoy!

The summer is slipping away! I'm meeting my goal of new sites and printables, but I still need your ideas for the coming months, especially the winter holidays. Please drop me an email. Happy printing!

Pam B. is a big fan of FreePrintable.net. I was so flattered to receive her email: "Just wanted you to know how much I have enjoyed your templates and newsletter. Have used the resumes and faxes; calendars have been helpful also. Have saved every one of the newsletters and have gone through them a number of times. Keep up the great work!!" Thanks so much, Pam!
