Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

My birthday is this Wednesday, and I am a big fan of my birthday. . I hope all your birthdays are as wonderful as mine! My wife bakes my favorite pie. My daughters make me cute gifts. I usually get a cool present, like video game-themed shoes or tickets to a concert with rad '80s bands. It's basically an awesome spoil-Kevin day that I often succeed in extending to an entire "Birthday Week" of festivities. As for the "birth" of new printables sites, I've got one especially for the kids: www.PrintablePaperDolls.net. Also, I've added a bunch of cards to www.FreePrintableGreetingCards.net.

» Printable Paper Dolls
As I've mentioned, I have two daughters, and they're rather far apart in age: my older daughter is in junior high and my younger one is in preschool. So, the 4-year-old, CQ, is currently enjoying many of the things my 13-year-old has left behind - such as a huge collection of Fisher-Price Little People playsets, with each doll individually named. I'm not surprised that CQ is starting to get into paper dolls. They're great for practicing scissor skills, and she loves changing the dolls' clothes or acting out little scenes (big sis likes to help with this). Paper dolls are classic fun and affordable, especially at my new site, www.PrintablePaperDolls.net, where they are all FREE.

The site has launched with a nice collection of dolls, both boys and girls, with full sets of clothes. There are ballerinas, princesses, sports-playing dolls and even fairy paper dolls! Just download your favorites and print. They're full-color, and I recommend printing on cardstock or thick paper, so the dolls are sturdy enough to stand up to everyday play. Then, kids can cut out them out and fold the tabbed clothes over the doll bodies.

The paper dolls are PDF files (opened easily with the free Adobe Acrobat program) and free to print one at a time. I've also included a convenient all-in-one option to get all 30 paper dolls at once for $9. The paper doll collection downloads immediately in a zipped folder, making this a great choice for day cares, preschools, or anyone who wants to have the entire collection on hand (on their computer) to print anytime.

» New Greeting Cards

I've just added a variety of new cards to www.FreePrintableGreetingCards.net. I promise this is not a hint, but the selection includes lots of new birthday cards! There are also thank you cards, anniversary cards and more. The colorful designs range from sports to ocean to Western to groovy '60s images. There are flowers, a pirate, cats, and even some sushi. Now there are nearly 200 all-occasion designs to choose from on the site.

The cards are all free to download and print as PDFs, or pay just $4 per design for a DOC version you can open and edit in Microsoft Word, personalizing it with names, messages, and more.

Please don't forget my Birthday Survey: www.FreePrintable.net/birthday_survey.php. Thanks so much! Happy printing!

  » Birthday Survey
Like I tell you every week, I couldn't offer as much great stuff at the FreePrintable.net sites without your wonderful ideas and input. If you have a moment, please let me know your thoughts via my special Birthday Survey. I'd love to hear what new sites you'd like to see next, what printables I should add to new sites, or any other FreePrintable.net feedback you might have. Thanks so much! I'll consider it my birthday present.

 Kudos
Carla, a new business owner, is getting a lot of use out of the printables at BusinessFormTemplate.com. She wrote, "Thank you for the freebies. If it wasn't for folks like you helping folks like me who are starting out in business with zero (no funds available). It is a huge help. Thanks again."
