FreePrintable.net news

Oct. 26, 2010
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

In just a few more days, my family will be celebrating our first Halloween in our Portland, Oregon house. We're stocking up with candy for the trick or treaters, but if we do end up with leftovers, I can promise you they won't last long - nom, nom, nom. This newsletter features the annual roundup of my favorite Halloween printables from the FreePrintable.net sites, and it's longer than ever thanks to additions I've made during the year, as well as the new Halloween cards at FreePrintableGreetingCards.net I told you about last week. Please keep reading ... if you dare. Muh hah hah... (That's my spooky laugh. I've been practicing it for the kids.)

» Halloween Printables
I've honestly lost count of how many Halloween printables I now offer through my many FreePrintable.net websites. It's in the hundreds, I'm sure. And the best part is, there's a free version of each and every printable. And some sites, such as those for Halloween invitations, greeting cards, and recipe cards, have the option to upgrade to a premium, editable upgrade (for Microsoft Word and other .DOC-compatible programs) for just a few dollars, making them even more convenient and customizable.

If it's scarecrows, ghosts, bats, monsters, or pumpkins you seek, please check out the FreePrintable.net sites. For example, not long ago I added several Halloween-themed award certificates for Best Jack-o-Lantern, Best Costume, and other fun contests to FreePrintableCertificates.net.

Printables are ideal for those of you who wait until the last minute to find a greeting card, or gift tags for those who like to give Halloween gifts or baked treats. (Don't forget the recipe cards!) Are you hosting a party? PrintInvitations.net has spooky Halloween invitations. For Halloween fun for kids, there are free coloring pages.

And for celebrating Halloween at the office, there are Halloween banners, letterhead templates, and even fax cover sheets. Simply download and print and you'll be good to ghoul. I mean, go.

» Free Clip Art

If you're a fan of the printable clip art at my site, DailyClipArt.net, you may have noticed that more than a few days had gone by since I last added new clip art. Oops! Well, the site back in action with new clip art for Halloween, along with toys, food, and other design categories. Check out Dracula, and the cool kids' scooter. There are hundreds of designs for all occasions, ready to download and print (or use online) for free as a JPG, or you can pay $4 for a premium, high-resolution version that includes JPG, GIF, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator files you can enlarge and use in higher-end projects subject to the site's terms of use. You can bookmark the site and sign up for the free newsletter here:

I hope you have a wonderful Halloween! And, if you don't celebrate Halloween, check back next week for the latest FreePrintable.net news, including a new site! And please keep sending me your ideas and feedback. Happy printing!

Kevin

  » Kudos

I've mentioned before how much I appreciate hearing about the specific uses people have found for the free printables. Christine S. took a moment to email me: "I love the coloring [pages]. I downloaded some for my client's wedding, for the kids, and they love them. They were asking for more. So, again, thank you very much." Thank YOU, Christine!
