Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

My family has been visiting some of our favorite spots on the northern California coast before we officially become Portland, Oregon residents just one week from now. Yesterday we went to Fern Canyon, a bit of natural wonder among the redwoods. The mosses and giant ferns make it positively prehistoric: Parts of BBC's "Walking with Dinosaurs" series, as well as the second Jurassic Park movie, were filmed there. In between jaunts, we've been packing. My daughter, who turns 13 in a few days, has found all kinds of crazy stuff in her room, from Bazooka Joe comics to a pair of googly eyes. She found a white rock she thought might be salt, so I licked it. It wasn't. (Yuck.) So, to recap, my life lately has been: packing, packing, packing, and preparing to have a teenage daughter and a preschool-age daughter in the same household. And yet, because I am some kind of superhuman printables maniac, I'm still offering up new printables this week! I just added nearly a dozen new grocery lists of all kinds to FreePrintableGroceryList.com. Also, there are 15 new resignation letters for all kinds of situations at www.ResignationLetters.biz.

» New Printable Grocery Lists
Sure, you can jot down a grocery list on a napkin or the back of an envelope. But if you really want to be organized, and save time and money, a printable shopping list with neat lines, checkboxes, and pre-filled categories is the way to go. The most-frequently downloaded grocery list on FreePrintableGroceryList.com is the massive Master Grocery List that lists dozens of commonly purchased food and household items. Also popular are the illustrated blank shopping lists as well as menu planners and coupon price book organizers. I just added 11 new grocery list variations, including many for specialty shopping needs such as healthy foods, diet foods, gluten-free foods, birthday parties, and people with diabetes. There's also a fun shopping list for kids who want to play store. And it's almost time to start thinking about that Thanksgiving grocery list! Check them all out here:

All of the grocery lists are free to download and print in either PDF or .DOC form.

» New Resignation Letters

Sometimes when you are done with a job you are DONE. Ready to pack up your coffee mug and pictures of your kids or pets and head off to greener pastures. But wait. Have you written your resignation letter? ResignationLetters.biz takes the time and guesswork out of writing an official letter of resignation, which many jobs require for their records. The site also has several articles with tips on how to leave your job gracefully, resignation letter don'ts, and letter formatting. All of the letters are professionally written, and range from letters giving the traditional two-week notice to a letter offering one's continuing services on a contract basis. There is a letter in which you can offer to train your replacement, leave the door open for an employer's counteroffer, or depart sooner than you previously said, or with no notice at all. (There are even a couple - a passive-aggressive letter and a bridge-burning letter - that you'll want to use in only the most extreme situations.) There are 15 new letters in all, and now there are 43 sample resignation letters on the site. The resignation letters are all free to download and print in .DOC format, and are pre-formatted to be edited in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or another word processing program. Just type over the existing text and customize the letter. Or, you can view the entire letter right on the site and copy and paste the text without downloading. Find one to suit your situation here:

I am in desperate need of ideas for new printables! I have several projects I'm working on, but the sites always turn out so much better when I have lots of user feedback. Please write in and let me know what you'd like to see next. Happy printing!

Recently, FreePrintable.net user Carole wrote to thank me profusely, using the Comic Sans font in bold, no less. She said, "Thank you, thank you! I just downloaded two sets of 2011 calendars (larger print style), and I'm really pleased. You are a major public service." Well, I don't know if I'd go THAT far, but I definitely appreciate you saying so, Carole!
