Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

I hope you're having a great week! I'm only slightly embarrassed to admit I'm looking forward to the new fall television lineup, especially next Tuesday's season premiere of Glee. (Yep, I'm a "Gleek.") I also love Sour Patch Kids - so tasty. And I a get a little rush when I reach "in box zero" (no unread emails), which doesn't happen often enough. OK; now you know some random things about me. How about some new printables? I've just added 195 new country flag coloring pages to www.FreePrintableColoringPages.net. Whether your kids are studying Iceland or you're scrapbooking your trip to Togo, you can find a coloring page to instantly download and print. Also this week I'm highlighting some of the handy forms and charts small business owners can use at quarterly tax time, which is wrapping up in just a couple of weeks.

» World Flag Coloring Pages
When I was in 6th grade I had to do a report about Portugal. I had a giant poster board filled with facts and stats about Portugal, and a big hand-drawn flag on the back. I am not sure why I picked Portugal; I guess it sounded exotic. My latest coloring pages, 195 flags of the world, at FreePrintableColoringPages.net include Portugal as well as Angola to Zimbabwe and every country in between. The flags are a great way for kids to learn about other nations as they color them in with the appropriate patterns. The flags are detailed and accurate, perfect for school reports, and can be colored with crayons, colored pencils or even paints (just be sure to print them on thicker paper if you're using water colors). There are already flag coloring pages for each of the United States, so this rounds out the collection. You can tour the world flags here:

Each of the coloring pages is free to download and print as a PNG file, which can be viewed and printed using most photo editors, including Google's free Picasa.

» Quarterly Tax Time Printables

September is halfway through, and if you're a small business owner like me, or work for someone who files quarterly taxes, you know that means the end of the third quarter of 2010 is sneaking up on us. There are many forms and charts at www.BusinessFormTemplate.com that will assist in organizing your financial information and streamline the tax preparation process. There are forms for company and individual expense reports as well as balance sheets and income statements and more. There are also tax schedules for sales tax at a variety of percentage points, which can be helpful in a day-to-day retail setting. Here are a couple of the most popular categories at BusinessFormTemplate.com at tax time:

Thanks for all your wonderful ideas for new printables! Please keep them coming. I'm working on new sites as well as seasonal printables for the fall and winter holidays. Happy printing!

Betty M. wrote me this nice note after finding PrintableSigns.net via a Google search: "Thank you for offering the free download for a printable recycle logo. We won't receive our (home) recycle cart until the next regular recycle pickup day. That is also our trash day so I wanted something that is easily identified as "not trash" to put on the box I'll use for the first recycle pickup." Great, Betty! I love hearing about how people put the free printables to use.
