When I was in 6th grade I had to do a report about Portugal. I had a giant poster board filled with facts and stats about Portugal, and a big hand-drawn flag on the back. I am not sure why I picked Portugal; I guess it sounded exotic. My latest coloring pages, 195 flags of the world, at FreePrintableColoringPages.net include Portugal as well as Angola to Zimbabwe and every country in between. The flags are a great way for kids to learn about other nations as they color them in with the appropriate patterns. The flags are detailed and accurate, perfect for school reports, and can be colored with crayons, colored pencils or even paints (just be sure to print them on thicker paper if you're using water colors). We won't receive our (home) recycle cart until the next regular recycle pickup day. That is also our trash day so I wanted something that is easily identified as "not trash" to put on the box I'll use for the first recycle pickup." Great, Betty!
