» New Teachers Printables
|
I know summer has just started, but if you're a teacher you're probably already thinking about next year. To aid in planning, I've just added 76 new free classroom printables to TeachersPrintables.net. There are now school health forms for teachers and nurses, a degree wheel protractor, a fire drill log, and a wide selection of shape templates to trace or use as-is. For primary teachers, there are printable letters in both upper and lower case, plus numbers, to display in the classroom, color, or cut out. I've also added some cute, colorful lunch box notes for parents to print out and place in little kids' lunchboxes for a special hello. There are now more than 150 printables at the site, from grading sheets and seating charts to homework forms and graphic organizers.

Despite all these new printables, they are all still free to download and print individually. (I know how little teachers have available to spend.) The price for the classroom license is still set at just $27. The entire collection downloads instantly and you can use as many as you want, again and again. A whole-school license is $67. Both collections come with a dozen bonus printables such as penmanship paper, graph paper, and calendars. |

As soon as I announced that my family, and FreePrintable.net, are moving to Portland, Oregon, I began to get the nicest emails from newsletter subscribers. Thank you so much for the advice on getting to know our exciting, new city.
I'm also glad that so many of you have snapped up the GIANT collection of printables, many available on CD for the first (and probably only) time. There are 14,000 files in all, taking up 7 CD-ROMs. As I mentioned, this limited-time offer is only available until July 1 and I will never offer this collection again. Here's how newsletter subscribers can order this humongous collection for just $99:

From greeting cards to address labels and from letter templates to business forms, this collection truly has all kinds of printables you can use at home or in your business. The family trees, kids' mazes, chore charts, and dot-to-dots are in there, too. I've also included: banners, fax cover sheets, planner pages, grocery lists, bookmarks and the aforementioned teachers' printables. The discs are arranged by themes such as "Party Printables," "Business Printables," and "Kids and Family Printables."
Another option is to buy a themed CD for $29.97 each. That way you can still save money while getting exactly what you need. But the $99 Portland Printable Pack is the only way to get Bonus Disc #7, which includes all 2,974 signs from PrintableSigns.net, plus additional printables. You can see exactly what's included in this gigantic collection here:

The collection includes both PDF and DOC files. All you need to edit and customize the DOC versions is Microsoft Word for Windows PC or Mac. (Google DOCs usually works as well.) But remember, the Sign Bonus Disc is only available when you buy the Portland Printable Pack. These offers absolutely END on July 1.
In between packing and getting Portland Printable Pack CDs ready, I'm still adding new printables. Please keep your ideas coming! I may get a little frazzled soon and I can use all the help I can get. Thanks again, and happy printing!

I absolutely love it when people write in to let me know how they've put the free printables to use. Recently, Lynn S. shared: "Printable games have been a lifesaver on long car rides with children. We love to play the dots game, where players take turns drawing a line between two dots on a grid. What our family does is print up one (with the rules printed or written on the back if necessary) and then take it to an office supply store to have it laminated. We then use wet erase markers (also bought at the office supply store), with each player having a different color. This way, when the game is done, we can take a damp paper towel to wipe it clean for a new game. Also, by using wet-erase markers instead of dry-erase markers there is no accidental removal of lines." Great ideas, Lynn! |

| » Flag Day Printables |
If you're in the U.S., are you celebrating Flag Day? It falls on June 14 and celebrates the adoption of the U.S. flag, which took place on that date in 1777. With coloring pages and other printables, children (and anyone) can celebrate this holiday. In fact, though the holiday is intended to recognize the U.S. flag, this is also a good reason to check out the new state flag coloring pages at FreePrintableColoringPages.net. Here's a list of some printables that are ideal for Flag Day:
patriotic coloring pages
U.S. history coloring pages
flag stationery
flag certificate
