FreePrintable.net news

July 20, 2010
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

I had fun at the video game show I told you about last week. My fingers still ache a little, but it's a small price to pay for dominating Defender. Thanks to all of you who wrote in to share your Atari and arcade memories. I don't feel quite so alone in my nerdiness now. My buddy from college brought several classic coin-op games from his collection to display at the exposition, and I helped him out with the setup. I'm glad he didn't challenge me to a game of Joust, because I would have lost. It's not fair to go ostrich-to-stork with someone who owns the game. I don't have any video gaming tips to share with you today. What I do have is more new printables! Just last night I added 25 new business forms and letters to www.BusinessFormTemplate.com as well as 20 new thank you letter examples to www.ThankYouLetter.ws.

» New Business Forms
With the addition of more than two dozen new business forms and letters to www.BusinessFormTemplate.com, there are now a whopping (I love to say "whopping." It's almost as good as plethora) 233 forms and templates at the site. Most of the new forms are letters. Some are intended for small business owners while others are appropriate for individuals as well, such as an accident claim letter, canceling a stop-payment on a check, and a request (or demand) that a landlord make needed repairs. There are letters regarding shipped goods, credit, employee discipline, contracts, and more. I'm especially fond of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and appeal forms. Elsewhere on the site are real estate forms, bills of sale, logs and inventory sheets, tax schedules, money-related forms, routing labels, auto sales forms, and more. You can see all the new forms and letters here:

All of the letters are free to download and print in .DOC form. They're already professionally formatted. All you need to do then is open one up in Microsoft Word or Google Documents and type over the existing text to customize the letter or form to your situation. If you'd like the instant, convenient use of all 233 forms from BusinessFormTemplate.com, the entire collection can be purchased as one download for $20.

» New Thank You Letters

I've also just added 20 new thank you letters to www.ThankYouLetter.ws, which now has 128 letter templates along with articles sharing tips on how to write a great thank you letter for business or personal situations. From gifts, condolences, and personal favors to job interviews and charitable donations, there are 16 categories of thank you letters to choose from. The new letters include thanks for job interviews, references, and referrals as well as thanks to donors of goods or cash to nonprofit causes. There are also some new gift thank you letters, and even a letter for when a gift must be declined due to professional restrictions. And if you want a chuckle, read the passive-aggressive thank you letter.

All of the thank you letter examples are free to download and print in .DOC form, or just cut and paste the text directly from the website. The .DOC versions work just like the business forms: open one up and type over the pre-formatted text to make the letter suit your situation. Here's the website:

I'm going to be spending the next three weeks packing for our big move to Portland. I still have new printables in the works, but I need your ideas for the months to come! Please take a moment to let me know what new sites or printables you'd like me to add. Happy printing!

  » Kudos
Welcome to all of you who have joined FreePrintable.net's Facebook page. This nice note from Laurie H. was posted there last week: "Thank you so much for your site. It is so easy to use and helpful not just in business but in everyday life. My children even use it for school and Boy Scouts."
