FreePrintable.net news

April 6, 2010
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

In this issue, I bring you news of the biggest addition ever to www.PrintableSigns.net: a whopping 2,240 brand-new signs, bringing the total of signs available to instantly download and print to more than 2,800. There are danger signs, door signs, hazardous materials signs and much more. The one sign I can't obey is "Halt" because I keep adding more signs! I just can't quit. Speaking of quitting, I wish I'd come up with www.ResignationLetters.biz sooner. I could have used a little more finesse when I quit one of my first jobs, a summer position I had in high-school. I hated that job. I gave two weeks' notice, but then I just bailed and didn't show up for the last day of the job. Fortunately for today's departing employees and retirees, new additions mean there are several more letters to choose from at ResignationLetters.biz.

» New Printable Signs
Whew! This is a lot of signs. To the existing www.PrintableSigns.net signs and placards for business and private property use, I've added new danger, caution, biohazard, restroom, and equipment signs along with new door signs, notices, and safety alerts. The new signs include a tool that lets users create custom NFPA 704 signs (complying with hazardous materials safety laws) by choosing health, flammability, instability, and other existing hazards to a perfectly formatted, full-color sign. You can see the new signs, as well as the NFPA 704 sign creator, here:

The signs are in colors and formats mimicking traditional roadside, factory, driveway, and office signs. As always, the signs are free to download and print in PDF format. Or, pay $1.99 for a .DOC sign you can customize (type into) using Microsoft Word.

» Resignation Letters
It's never easy to say goodbye, in business or in one's personal life. Added to that is the fact that resignation letters should be polite and concise while also serving as a legal record of an employee vacating a position or a volunteer stepping down from a role within an organization. Whether you're leaving a job due to a change in career path or retirement, you'll find a free letter that suits your situation at www.ResignationLetters.biz. Use the free letters as-is or customize them with personal details. The site also includes advice for writing and presenting letters of resignation. There are resignation letters for retirees, workers returning to school, employees leaving due to pregnancy or medical concerns, and even people who have been "forced" to resign. The newest letters include resignations for teachers, resignations from volunteer boards, and resignations from church leadership roles. Just download a free letter, open it (already formatted in business letter style) using Microsoft Word and edit it as needed. You can see all the articles and sample resignation letters here:

There are more new printables on the way, including brand-new sites, so please keep reading the newsletter. I appreciate all of your excellent ideas. Happy printing!

There are still a couple of months left in the traditional school year, and I've been getting more and more emails from teachers who appreciate the free printables at www.TeachersPrintables.net, www.PrintablePaper.net and other FreePrintable.net sites. Gregory M. wrote: "Your templates, paper, cards, etc. are a life saver. I am a teacher who needs things on the spur of the moment and your site always comes through for me." Gregory, thanks for the compliment, and for all you do as a teacher!
