FreePrintable.net news

May 4, 2010
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

Well, color me excited! (Groan ... I know, I know.) But seriously: I just added a massive amount of new free printable coloring pages to www.FreePrintableColoringPages.net. Not dozens; I'm talking 580 all-new, never-before-seen, created-just-for-this-site coloring pages. There's everything from food and outer space to alphabet letters and state flags, all ready to color. And they're all free. Just click to download, print, grab your crayons or colored pencils and start coloring! Also, I know you like FreePrintable.net, but do you "like it" like it? If you're on Facebook, you probably know that "like" is the new "fan of." Either way, now you can officially "like" FreePrintable.net on Facebook. Keep reading to learn how. (I'd really like that.)

» New Coloring Pages
When I launched www.FreePrintableColoringPages.net back in 2006, I had no idea the site would one day grow to more than 2,700 coloring pages. Wow! The latest addition of more than 530 coloring sheets was so diverse that I ended up making a dozen new categories so they'd be easy to find, sorted by topic. There are plenty of new coloring pages in "old favorite" categories such as Animals and Holidays, as well as the new categories: Abstract, Fashion, Food, Hearts, Snow, Sky, and a new Outer Space "super-category," which includes the original Planets category and the new Space Travel category. By popular demand, there are now color-by-number pages and coloring pages for each of the U.S. state flags. There's also a new Letters and Numbers "super-category," including Alphabet, Numbers, Illuminated Letters, and Illuminated Numbers, as well as A is for Apple and so on - great for teachers, parents, medical offices, restaurants, or anytime. These additions are all-new, exclusive coloring pages created just for this site. You won't find them anywhere else, online or in stores. The best part is, all of the pages are absolutely free. Just take your pick from among 41 categories. Download as many as you'd like:

The coloring pages are convenient PNG files, which can be opened and printed using virtually any computer, Mac, PC, or Linux.

» 'Like' FP on Facebook
Yep, it's true. FP is on FB. That is, www.FreePrintable.net now has an official Page on the enormously popular social networking site, Facebook.com. I have a great time on Facebook, keeping up with old friends and hearing about cool stuff and fun events. (I have to be careful of too much fun, though, or I'll get sucked into playing some farm game or sending hearts and pokes when I could be making more printables.) If you're on Facebook, I'd love it if you would "like" FreePrintable.net. Just sign into Facebook, go to the link below, and click the "Like" button. Once we're "friends," you'll get the latest news from FreePrintable.net right there in your Facebook feed! Plus, you can post your ideas and feedback, or even communicate with other printables fans on FreePrintable.net's Wall.

Thanks to all of you for your great suggestions, praise, and general feedback. After a short jaunt up to Oregon, I'm staying put for awhile and I have lots more printables on the way. Happy printing!

  » Kudos
FreePrintable.net is based in the United States, but the site has visitors from all over the world. I keep thinking it would be cool if I kept a map in my office with little pins in it marking the far-flung places from which I've received email. Recently, I got an email from Australia. Now, there's a vacation destination on my Bucket List. I wonder if Tayna from Newcastle (in New South Wales) has any sightseeing tips? She wrote: "I live in Australia and I always look forward to your FreePrintable, net news. It is so user-friendly and I love your ideas as they make it so much easier for me to utilize them both personally and professionally. Hope you enjoy your working holiday and I look forward to the next edition." Thanks, Tanya! I had a great time, but I'm glad to be back.
