FreePrintable.net news

March 2, 2010
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

After what has felt like a long, rainy winter, I'm excited to see some flowers starting to pop up in our garden. Next thing you know, our rescue turtles will be coming out of hibernation. Ah, spring! Good times. Speaking of spring (yes, I am a master of the artful transition), I am springing on you a whopping 92 new printable business cards at www.FreePrintableBusinessCards.net. These new, full-color designs are intended for specific industries, including small businesses and home-based businesses. There are now 355 business card designs at the site - and I already have plans to add even more. Also, I've added more curriculum vitae (specialty resume) examples to www.CVtemplates.net.

» New Business Cards
I don't know if it's the economy, or a surge in entrepreneurship, but I have been getting more and more requests for business cards appropriate for home-based businesses and the otherwise self-employed. Accordingly, I just added nearly 100 new business cards to www.FreePrintableBusinessCards.net. There are cards for antique dealers, bed and breakfast inns, bounce house rentals, clothing consignment, cosmetic sales, gas stations, genealogy buffs, legal services, magicians, party planners, snow removal, wineries, and dozens more. I've also included cards for people who sell on eBay and Etsy. Other new additions include business cards with spaces on which to write in appointment dates and times - great for medical offices, salons, or anywhere that schedules client visits in advance. You can see all the new business cards here:

All of the business cards are available to instantly download in two versions. There's a free version that includes my site URL. Just open it in Microsoft Word, type in your information, and print a sheet of cards. Or, if you want to be able to edit out the URL, you can pay $3 per design for that version. It's up to you!

» New CV Templates
I hope you know about my sites, www.InstantResumeTemplates.com and www.CVtemplates.net. Combined, they offer more than 100 free sample resumes and curriculum vitae templates you can open in Microsoft Word and customize to suit your job-hunting or academic needs. There are many formats to choose from. I've just added 11 new templates to CVtemplates.net (actually 22 altogether, because each design is available in both letter and A4 size.) Some of the templates are organized chronologically, others by knowledge, and so on. The newest CV templates include versions formatted compactly, designed to highlight skills, a very detailed CV and an especially scholarly CV. Again, all of them are free to download and print. You can find the new CV templates here:

I appreciate all your ideas for new printables and sites. Thanks to you, I'm able to add new stuff almost every week. Happy printing!

  » Kudos
It's rewarding for me when I hear that someone has used one of the free printable resume or CV templates to help launch their job search. These pre-formatted, yet fully customizable, templates save time and money. Alice D. wrote: "Thank you for the printables. I especially like the resume templates, and I have used two of them. Keep up the great work!" Thanks, Alice. And best of luck to you!
