FreePrintable.net news

December 1, 2009
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

Are you ready for 2010? OK, well, neither am I. But I do know the new year will bring lots of new printables. Ready or not, free printable 2010 calendars are up and ready to download and print at Printable2010calendar.net. I've also added several new holiday designs to FreePrintableBookmarks.net that are great for holiday reading, or for Christmas and Hanukkah gifts. Business owners and managers can also end the year on a high note with the Employee of the Year certificates at FreePrintableCertificates.net. Read all about it in this edition of the FreePrintable.net newsletter!

» 2010 Calendars
More than a year ago, for 2009, I launched my first Web site dedicated entirely to free printable calendars. I was so pleased with the response that I've launched Printable2010calendar.net with even more convenient, easy-to-use calendar designs for your home and business needs. You can print full-page monthly calendars one at a time, or the entire year at once. This year, there's a version with large, bold dates for people with vision limitations, or anyone who likes to be able to read the date from across the room. Other new additions include all-on-one-page 2010 calendars that start on Monday, versions with weekends shaded, a 2010-2011 academic calendar, and a calendar with room for notes. Most have both ascending and descending, as well as horizontal and vertical, variations. There are also wallet-sized calendars, calendars with holiday dates in red, and more. Please find your favorite at:

You can choose from either PDF versions or fully editable .DOC versions that can be customized with birthdays, appointments, and whatever else you choose. Money is no object; all of the calendars are free! And if you're really on the ball, take a sneak peak at Printable2011calendar.com, which is already up and ready to print. If you're interested in calendars with Hebrew dates or highlighting Jewish holidays, don't miss PrintableJewishCalendar.com.

» Holiday Bookmarks

Whether you're doing a lot of holiday reading or looking for a stocking stuffer or addition to a gift basket, you can't go wrong with a bookmark. I recently added eight Christmas and Hanukkah designs to FreePrintableBookmarks.net. They're also a nice complement to any gift of a book, including cookbooks (because people like to mark their favorite recipes). In fact, you could include several bookmarks and help your friends and family avoid dog-eared pages. The Christmas designs include Christmas trees, stockings, candy canes and presents. The Hanukkah bookmark is blue with dreidels. Print these full-color, two-sided bookmarks out on regular printer paper, or, for added durability, cardstock. (Or, laminate them!) You can see all the new bookmarks here:

I hope you're having a fun and not-too-stressful holiday season. I'm working on even more printables for the coming year, and I need your input, so please drop me a line about what you'd like to see in 2010 and beyond. Thanks so much!

  » Kudos
I'm so pleased when my printables can help people in their day-to-day lives, but it's even more exciting when they can help folks who are in a real pinch, like Laurie D. who recently needed a last-minute resume and found what she needed at InstantResumeTemplates.com. She wrote: "You are awesome! All I wanted was a basic template to put together a simple resume because I lost mine. After way too much looking, here you were all the time; click click and I had it. Thanks a bunch, hope I get the job now!" Thanks, Laurie, and good luck!

  » Employee Award Certificates

Often, employers choose the company's holiday party as the time to recognize achievements including Employee of the Year. If you're a business owner or manager planning such honors in the office or at a special event, you'll definitely want to take a look at the free printable Employee of the Year certificates at FreePrintableCertificates.net. There are several designs to choose from, and you can opt for the free PDF version or the $5 editable .DOC version in which the employee's name and other details can by typed (rather than handwritten) into the appropriate fields.
