| » 271 New Certificates |
When I first launched FreePrintableCertificates.net back in 2005, I started out with a nice collection of certificates that I expected would be of use to the greatest number of people. I've continued to add to the collection over the years, with the certificates becoming more specific as I learn of the needs of FreePrintable.net users. In recent months, there has been a lot of demand for particular academic- and sports- related certificates. So I decided to go all-out and offer nearly 300 new certificates for some common sports I'm surprised I'd overlooked, as well as some sports I'd honestly never heard much about but that players and coaches have told me they want. The same goes for the academic certificates: more specific subjects, all appropriately illustrated and ready to download and print! There are certificates of achievement for everything from Astronomy to Yearbook; and from Arm Wrestling to Wheelchair Basketball. You can see all the new additions here: www.FreePrintableCertificates.net/category/new
As always, the certificates are free in PDF form or $5 for the customizable .DOC version you can type right on to. With the addition of so many new certificates, the number of certificates at the site now exceeds 850 - too many to fit on one CD (more than 730 MB, if you're counting). So now, the entire collection is instead available for purchase on a USB memory stick delivered by First Class mail. It's $69 for every single certificate offered on the site - a $4,295 value in all! |

I'm also pleased with how www.FamilyTreeTemplates.net has "grown" (pun intended) since its 2008 launch. I've just added another 10 designs, and there are now more than 50, from kid-friendly trees to trees for nontraditional families to sophisticated charts for genealogists. Some of the newest additions include full-color illustrations of children, birds, and fall leaves. There has been a lot of demand for ancestor charts with room for more names, so I've added new 6-generation and 7-generation family trees that even have spaces for vital statistics such as date of birth, marriage, death, and other details. The 7-generation version has room for 127 family members! With the free PDF version, you write the names in by hand, while in the $4 .DOC version you can type them right into preformatted text boxes in Microsoft Word.

Even though I just added hundreds of new printables, I want to offer many more times that in the coming year. Did I miss anything? Just let me know! It's thanks to you FreePrintable.net users that I'm able to make the sites as useful as they are.

| This week I'd like to share some nice feedback I got from Cade K., who is getting a lot of use out of www.PrintablePlanners.net as well as the organizational tools at other FreePrintable.net sites. Cade wrote: "Thanks for a great site. I am so glad I found it. I use a paper PDA as backup to the address book and calendar in my phone and some of your forms have given me wonderful ideas for new ways to capture and organize my info. ... Thanks again." |

| » Search Strategies |
With so many new additions to the FreePrintable.net sites lately, I thought now would be a good time for a reminder about how best to use the sites' search tool to find just the printable you're looking for.
First off, when you want to search all of the printables sites at once, start from the main FreePrintable.net site at this link: www.FreePrintable.net/search.php. If you want to search for printables at just one site, such as FreePrintableCertificates.net or FreePrintableBusinessCards.net, use the search box on that particular page.
Broad searches work best; try using just one or two words. For example, a search for "dog" will get you better results than typing in "collie dog." Similarly, on the certificates site, even if you're looking for an award for Glee club, just type in "Glee" rather than "Glee club" or "best Glee singer." (Speaking of which, I love that show!)
