FreePrintable.net news

January 5, 2010
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

It's a new year, and that means new printables! I hope you're displaying your calendar from Printable2010calendar.net and looking forward to more fresh, fun (and useful) printables for home, business, and school in 2010 and beyond. I'm not personally a big fan of New Year's "resolutions," but I do believe in setting goals for the year. My goals include lots of new printables, including brand-new sites. Recently, I added an array of new business forms and templates to BusinessFormTemplate.com as well as several new forms and organizers for classrooms at TeachersPrintables.net. Please read on to learn more about these new designs.

» Printable Business Forms
Counting the 10 new additions to BusinessFormTemplate.com, there are now more than 135 forms and templates available for instant download at this site! Most of the forms are intended for small businesses (employment forms, expense reports, authorization forms and more), but there are also plenty of forms useful to individuals and households, such as bills of sale, logs, and sign-up sheets. The new printables include several forms to be used by car repair shops and independent mechanics: an estimate form, repair orders, and the like. There's also an auto maintenance log that makes it easy for any motorist to record mileage, oil changes, and various vehicle upkeep details. Other new forms include detailed weekly and monthly bookkeeping records and forms that will help businesses or individuals coordinate tax records. You can see all of the new printable business forms here:

All of the forms are free to download and print in .DOC format and can be opened and edited (filled in) using Microsoft Word. Most of the forms also have a PDF version, also free, that can be opened using Adobe's free Acrobat Reader. Another option is the convenient all-in-one download, which gives you the entire collection of forms at once for $20.

» Teachers' Printables

In the six months since I launched TeachersPrintables.net, I've gotten a lot of positive feedback from teachers as well as homeschooling parents who appreciate the 75-plus classroom management tools, graphic organizers, grading sheets, blank lesson plans, seating charts, and other helpful printables. The newest additions include: emergency contact forms, hall passes, detention slips, and a large Venn diagram. They're all free to download individually, which makes these forms fit the budget of any teacher! (For teachers or schools who would like broader use of the printables, there is a convenient all-in-one download of the entire collection available for $27 for a single classroom or $67 for a whole school license. The collection includes more than a dozen bonus printables, including graph, penmanship, and note-taking paper as well as calendars.) Just in time for the start of a new semester, here are the latest teachers' printables:

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your suggestions for new printables and Web sites. I truly believe I couldn't have added so many great new printables in 2009 without your help. Please help me make 2010 filled with even more "printable goodness" by sharing your ideas with me. Thanks!

  » Kudos
I have really enjoyed hearing your suggestions and thanks during 2009, and I hope you don't mind if I share this nice note I received last week from V. Deutscher, who enjoys many of my free printables sites: "Just wanted to thank you for taking your time and creating all the excellent downloads you have done over the past year! You have saved ME a lot of time! I look forward to 2010 with what you create!"

  » Pop-up Pointers

I know I've mentioned pop-ups before, but it bears repeating, because I am so committed to making sure visitors to the FreePrintable.net sites have a pleasant experience. (That's also why I have a strict anti-spam policy and will never share your information with anybody.)

The little pop-up that asks you to subscribe to this newsletter should only appear the first time that you go to any FreePrintable.net site. Since you're already subscribed, just click the little CLOSE button in the lower right corner of the pop-up.

You should only see that pop-up once per site, ever. If you see it again, it's because you don't allow browser cookies, or your antivirus software is deleting your cookies. I'm still looking into ways to make sure that current subscribers never see it, but so far haven't been able to figure that out. In the meantime, thanks for your patience as you click that CLOSE button then move on to the printables.
