FreePrintable.net news

September 22, 2009
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

Happy autumn! I think this is my favorite time of year, with the cooler weather, fall leaves and all that good stuff. My kids are already thinking about their Halloween costumes and I wouldn't be surprised if my wife is making a list of potential Thanksgiving recipes. Weather and holidays aside, the start of a new season also means the start of a new business quarter as well as a great time to print out a new batch of calendars. I just launched a site with calendars in the Spanish language, CalendarioGratis.com, a nice complement to Printable2009calendar.net and Printable2010calendar.net. Also, if you're job-hunting or just want to keep your resume looking attractive and up-to-date, you'll want to check out the new resume templates I've added to InstantResumeTemplates.com.

» New Resume Templates
When you're looking for a new job, you want to focus your time on choosing the words to highlight your skills and experience, as well as following job leads and developing a strategy regarding which employers to target with your resume. But when it comes to choosing a format for your resume, you can save time and money and head straight to www.InstantResumeTemplates.com. I just added 24 new resume templates to the site, including several geared toward specific industries. There are academic-style resumes, creatively designed resumes, traditional resumes and more. You can see all the new designs here:

www.InstantResumeTemplates.com/category/new

All of the resume templates are free to instantly download and print. They are in .DOC format so you can open them in Microsoft Word and simply type over the placeholder information with your own. There are now more than 65 templates to choose from!

» Spanish Calendars
You may remember that a few months ago I launched the first-ever Spanish language site in the FreePrintable.net family, www.CertificadosImprimibles.com, featuring more than 160 Spanish certificates. The response from the Spanish-speaking community has been great. Now, I've added another site in Spanish, this one with free printable 2009 and 2010 calendars. Not limited to native Spanish speakers, they can also be used in educational settings. There are versions with one month per page, layouts with all of the months on one sheet, and some with the holidays in red. Basically, most of the great free calendars you know from www.printable2009calendar.net and www.printable2010calendar.net, but in Spanish! They're available as PDF or customizable .DOC files so you can type in birthdays and other family or business events. You can download and print all of the Spanish calendars "gratis" here:

www.CalendarioGratis.com

Thanks so much for all your feedback and ideas. I'm looking forward to adding even more sites, as well as many more printables for the winter holidays. In the meantime, go out and enjoy autumn!

This week, I got a nice note from FreePrintableStationery.net user Kim P., who wrote, "Thank you for the great printable stationery. I printed it out and it looks wonderful." Thanks, Kim! I'm glad you like the stationery. You can find even more letterhead designs at FreeLetterheadTemplates.net.
