FreePrintable.net news

June 2, 2009
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

Please excuse my self-indulgence, but this is the official "Kevin's Birthday" edition of the FreePrintable.net newsletter! It's "birthday week" for me. By sheer coincidence, I'm announcing a new site, PrintableBirthAnnouncements.net. And if you weren't born yesterday, you can probably tell from the URL that this site offers a selection of birth announcements. I also have a special birthday wish, so please keep reading.

» Birth Announcements
A new baby in the house usually means you're busier than ever. But you want to let everyone know the little one has arrived, even if you've been procrastinating on ordering or buying announcements from a stationery store. If your budget is as tight as your time, you can't go wrong with free printable birth announcements. My latest site, PrintableBirthAnnouncements.net, offers more than 20 free printable birth announcements to instantly download and print in a variety of playful, colorful styles. I have two daughters: one biological, and one adopted. So, I know from experience that it's a lot harder to find adoption birth announcements. PrintableBirthAnnouncements.net includes birth announcements for adopted babies as well as announcements sharing the adoption of an older child. Got your hands full with twins? There are printable birth announcements for twin babies as well. What if you haven't yet had the baby but are excited to share the news with near or distant friends and family? Just print out one of the pregnancy announcements, found along with all the other baby cards here:

The birth announcements are free to download and print in PDF form, or pay $7 for the premium, .DOC version. The .DOC version can be opened in Microsoft Word, where you can type in baby's details such as name, date and time born, height, weight and so on. You can also save the file to your computer to print again and again at no extra cost, which is great for when you realize you've left someone off the list. Oh, and you don't have to be a mom or dad to send out birth announcements. Proud grandparents, godparents and other loved ones can make use of these cute cards as well!

» Send Me Your Ideas!
I know I mention it in almost every newsletter, but I really do want, need and value your ideas for new printables, or even entire sites, to add to the FreePrintable.net family. My birthday wish is that you, dear reader, send in your top three ideas for new additions. Which printables would you most use if they were added? (Of course, if you get carried away, I'd happily accept 38 of your ideas - one for each year of my life!) Just go here for an easy form you can fill out to share your ideas with me: www.freeprintable.net/birthday_survey.php Thanks again! It's FreePrintable.net users like you who help make the sites fun, useful and relevant at home, in the office or with the kids.

Thanks again to all of you for subscribing to the FreePrintable.net newsletter and for all your wonderful ideas. It's been another great year and I'm looking forward to bringing you even more free printables in the future.

Actually, I already got one great birthday gift: This nice note from the Zakis/Sobczak family. "I love, love, love all you have to offer! I have found things here I never thought I would find. Not only the kids coloring pages (our grandkids love 'em), but now the storyboards AND the score sheets! The sports guys in the family are amazed. Yahtzee and Bunco score sheets are perfect for our neighborhood game nights."
