May 12, 2009
Hi from Kevin at FreePrintable.net, where a busy printer is a happy printer.

This week, due to repeated special requests from loyal FreePrintable.net users, I've introduced more than five dozen storyboard templates. Designed for use by filmmakers, Web developers and those in similar fields, the templates make it easy to get creative ideas (camera moves, perspective and other nuances, plus written instructions) across to others on the production team. Also, I've just added new score sheets at PrintablePaper.net, so there are now 13 to choose from, from Scrabble to cricket.

» Storyboard Templates
After numerous FreePrintable.net user requests for storyboard templates, I decided I'd better go ahead and get some up on the site! I originally thought I'd start out with just a couple of the most common variations (4x3 and 16x9 widescreen), but I got carried away and now there are 63 storyboard templates at PrintablePaper.net! Storyboard templates are a necessity for plotting out scenes in virtually any live action or animated production. Now, you don't have to hunt all over the Internet or pay for storyboard templates, as all the templates are free to download and print at PrintablePaper.net. There are many sizes, grids and orientations to choose from, making the templates ideal for professional or hobbyist filmmakers, animators, interactive Web site developers and others who find the storyboarding process helpful or mandatory in the creative process. There are grids for widescreen (16:9), full screen (4:3), and 35mm photo. The templates are available sized for letter as well as legal and A4 paper, and they are in PDF form, easily viewed by Adobe's free Reader. You can find all of the storyboard templates here:

I hope there's a storyboard template for every need, but if there is something you don't see that would help make your life as a filmmaker, animator or other creative type easier, please drop me an email and let me know!

» New Score Sheets
Scrabble is my game. I've played some high-scoring words in my day, and I wish I had a paper record of my wins, if only for bragging rights. From now on, instead of a hastily grabbed scrap of paper, I'll go for the professional-quality printable Scrabble score sheets, which include an area to check off which letters has been played as well as a game board to track words played. It's just one of the four new score sheets at PrintablePaper.net. The other new ones are for cricket, bunco and softball. (Scoring softball is much like scoring baseball, so you can choose from among the existing baseball score sheets or opt for the new one if you like its style.) I hope you enjoy the new score sheets, and to all of you who love bunco: Please bring the score sheets along to the next "bunco night" and spread the word about FreePrintable.net. Here's a link to all the score sheets. PDFs are free to download and print, or you can pay $4 for a customizable version you can edit or fill in in Microsoft Word as many times as you'd like, forever.

  » Kudos
I have energetic kids, so I know where FreePrintable.net user Cindy C. was coming from when she sent me this nice note: "I wanted to thank for keeping me from pulling my hair out and going insane on a rainy day! I had my two grandchildren home with me, ages 5 and 3, quite a handful as you could imagine! I had used your site before for various things and remembered the children's printables and I was able to print some of cutest color sheets and I was able to keep them busy and I was able to regain my sanity. Thanks again for all the free printables!"
