Hi, printables fans! I hope all is well with you. I’ve been enjoying a lot of family time this week, in between getting new stuff ready for my FreePrintable.net sites. Thanks again to those of you who sent in ideas for a movie with terrible reviews that my wife and I could watch for our longtime Valentine’s Day tradition. We ended up “enjoying” a 2001 stinker of a flick called How High.

Back to printables! I’ve added new maps to PrintableWorldMap.net. Also, there are new character reference letters at CharacterReferenceLetters.com.

Printable Maps

There’s a wide range of maps at PrintableWorldMap.net, from simple state and country outlines to topical maps with full-color artwork exclusive to the site. There are 770 maps in all, each free to instantly download and print.

The newest additions are maps of the provinces and territories of Canada. There are two versions of each map: one blank and one that’s labeled with both the name and the capital city.

PrintableWorldMap.net has basic and labeled regional maps and continent maps, available in both labeled and unlabeled (fill-in) versions. These are great for classroom use. You’ll also find constellation maps of the stars.

The full-color and color-it-yourself versions of the topical maps are especially popular. There are illustrated maps of the Ancient Roman Empire, the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Pangea, the Oregon Trail, Route 66, and other maps of the past and present.

PrintableWorldMap.net also has detailed maps of U.S. time zones, capitals, state flags, bodies of water, and various regions.

Each map can be downloaded instantly for free as a PDF file. Another option is to conveniently download the entire collection at once for just $9. That way, you can save the printable maps on a computer for instant access anytime.

Character References

I’ve added 20 new character reference letters to CharacterReferenceLetters.com, bringing the total of examples to 368.

These templates provide a jump start for vouching for someone in business, personal, and legal situations.

You can download and customize any of the sample letters for free. Just replace the placeholder wording as needed. The site also has articles and tips on how to write or request a reference letter.

There are new reference letter templates for people in the art or legal fields. Plus, there are a couple of new child care reference letters. Also new are recommendations for military service.

In the academic references category, I’ve added sample letters addressing student suspensions and expulsions.

There are 10 new testimonials. They include templates with which to vouch for: a health coach, a volunteer, a builder, and other persons or businesses.

CharacterReferenceLetters.com also has letters for immigration, adoption, and legal matters such as probation and parole. Another new letter is intended for divorce court. In any case, be sure to hire an attorney if you need one!

Each letter downloads instantly in DOC format so you can type into it using Microsoft Word or another compatible program. Or, just cut and paste the text directly from the site. The letters are free for your personal use.

This week, I took a look at which contracts and agreements are being downloaded the most at PrintableContracts.com.

Of the more than 600 templates at the site, the most popular is currently a car rental agreement. It’s followed in popularity by a best friend contract. A “love contract” is also being downloaded a lot.

Also downloaded quite a bit are: a car rental agreement, a land sale contract, and a will.

Rounding out the Top 15 are: a dog training agreement, a neighbor fence contract, a bartender contract, and a wedding officiant contract.

Agreements with children, such as a chore contract and pet-owning agreement, are popular as well.

PrintableContracts.com also has sample warranties, health and medical directives, job contracts, household services agreements, and warranty templates. Plus, the site has articles about how to write contracts.
