Spring has truly sprung in Portland, judging in part from the sheer number of geese honking about near my house. (The goslings are adorable, but their parents like to chase nosy humans.) So, what’s new? Letterhead! FreeLetterheadTemplates.net has new designs for upcoming holidays, and there are now nearly 600 sheets to choose from, each free to download and print.

Letterhead

It’s been nearly 15 years since I launched FreeLetterheadTemplates.net as a complement to my stationery site, FreePrintableStationery.net. Combined, the sites now have more than 1,600 designs. And, has been the case since the beginning, each letterhead sheet is free to instantly download and print.

The new holiday letterhead includes the previously mentioned Mother’s Day letterhead and some cute Father’s Day designs with ties and mustaches.

There’s also new red, white, and blue patriotic letterhead that’s perfect for Independence Day, but also useful for political mailers (for upcoming elections), Memorial Day, and other purposes.

Besides holiday themes and colorful personal letterhead, FreeLetterheadTemplates.net has more subtle business designs as well as several styles of monogram letterhead.

You’ll also find sports letterhead, baby letterhead, animal letterhead, religious letterhead, letterhead for kids, and lots more.

The free letterhead is in DOC format so you can type your letter directly into the template using Microsoft Word or another compatible program before printing. Or, simply print it out and write by hand.

There are 20 new example letters at LettersOfRecommendation.net, each free to download, customize, and print. Head to this site any time you need to find the right words to vouch for someone for a job, in academic settings, or personal situations.

There are now 377 recommendation letter templates at LettersOfRecommendation.net. The site also has several articles with letter-writing tips.

The new letters include job-related recommendations for a summer job as well as subjective and objective wording and a letter for an especially competitive environment.

New school-related recommendation letters cover applying for a college honor program along with a graduate fellowship and international studies. LettersOfRecommendation.net also has templates related to scholarships and financial aid.

I’ve added nomination letters for a leadership award or a mentorship, and there’s even a casual note vouching for someone who wants to join a book club.

There are letters to send to potential references as well, and the newest variations seek endorsements for joining a sorority or a private club, or for connecting with a journalist.

Rounding out the new additions are a side hustle recommendation letter and a few letters for sorority and fraternity nominations. Another letter has sample wording for declining to write a reference letter for various reasons.

Soon, I’ll be adding new contracts to PrintableContracts.com. I just took a look at the site to see which personal and business forms are being downloaded the most.

For the first time, the most-downloaded contract is a horse boarding contract. I had no idea this service was so in-demand! It’s followed in popularity by a land sale contract, a car rental agreement, and a writer/ghostwriter agreement.

There are a couple of relationship-related agreements in the Top 15: a best friend contract and a break-up contract. (By the way, the templates at PrintableContracts.com are not a substitute for legal advice. Be sure to consult an attorney when you need one.)

A child chore contract is being downloaded a lot and is among the non-binding, casual agreements at the site.

New to the Top 15 are a bartending contract and a party supplies rental contract. Party on!

Also popular are: a neighbor fence agreement, dog training agreement, a dog breeding contract, a waiver of liability, and a right to represent agreement.
